The Alarm Receiving Centre provides services via the following methods: Digital CommunicatorsDigital Communicator monitoring provides monitoring of a protected premises via a standard telephone line. Alarm signals are transmitted to the ARC in the event of a situation arising. Emizon IPEmizon IP is the advanced, ’always- on’ alarm signalling and CCTV monitoring service that connects the alarm system to the 24 hour monitoring centre using two separate communication routes (IP/GPRS or GPRS/PSTN). If there is a problem with the first route, either accidental or malicious, then signals will be sent over the backup route ensuring that the alarm will always be delivered. BT RedCareThe RedCare service provides continual monitoring of a protected premises by the use of an existing BT line. This line is continually monitored and in the event of a line cut the ARC will be notified. With the addition of RedCare GSM, monitoring will continue even though the line has been cut. CSL DualComDualCom monitoring provides continual monitoring of a protected premises on any standard telephone line. Alarm signals are transmitted via Radio, GSM or GPRS and will provide notification to the ARC in the event of a line cut. CCTV MonitoringThe ARC is accredited to provide CCTV monitoring to comply with the British Standard BS 8418.  |
