Police Services Open Day - 15th September 2011
First County Monitoring (FCM) in conjunction with our partner Peoplesafe will be holding its first open day dedicated purely for Control Room Staff located within the Police Forces of the UK & Ireland.
The event will be held at FCM’s headquarters in North Yorkshire on the 15th September 2011.
Ken Meanwell, the author of the ACPO Policy will be presenting to the attendees alongside directors from Peoplesafe and FCM.
The programme will include:
- demonstrations of various types of LWD’s,
- how Red Alerts from device users are monitored and the procedures that ARC operators follow in deciding upon appropriate responses, allowing the UK Police Forces a full insight into how Lone Worker Devices and ARCs operate.
Peoplesafe services are covered under the Unique Reference Number available under the ACPO Security Policy to those service providers who are able to fully comply to the BS8484 standard at a company, device and monitoring level.
